Last week I told you I had begun a rigorous-and more or less serious- austerity plan since late January. The reason? More powerful impossible. Since late January, I am unemployed. My company, which I had been working for 11 years, went bankrupt earlier this year. So, no more go shopping for me, at least for a while. Among all the feelings that caused me to be out of work, -which are many and varied-, one of the positive ones, - yes, there are also positive feelings-, is to know that I am now able to enjoy my free time, especially on weekends. Due to my former job it used to be rare for me to have Saturdays and Sundays off, so now I enjoy making the most of my weekends from the first minute to the last.
Yesterday's was a very sunny morning, so I thought it would be nice to start dusting off my spring clothes, and getting ready for this new season. But, although tempting, I was aware that weather is not ready yet. So I thought that I could take stock of the new trends for this season, and thus, little by little, we let spring come in through our sunny windows, and get an idea of what will not be missing in our closets, to welcome it.
This summer pastel pink, yellow, purple and green tones will rule. They remind us of exquisite meringue and macaroons. Designers have shouted almost in unison, this summer we will wear sweet shades.

We will also see many pleated skirts, and the may be shorter or longer, but the important thing is that they must have those little pleats. And if you are also wear it in a somewhat transparent fabric, your style will be the coolest.

Although floral prints will be still protagonist, they wiil just play a supporting role due to the arrival of scarf type print, which we'll find in all types of clothing, from dresses and shirts to shoes.

Light and delicate fabrics like silk, chiffon, lace, and satin bring us a very naive and romantic feeling this season.

These are just some of the most innovative trends I have seen at the fashion shows. Others, like the floral prints, animals, ethnic style, or black and white duo, will stay another year at the top. I hope this post will be as a breath of fresh spring air, it is almost here... in the meantime, ¡Happy Monday!
